After his mother's sudden death, Socrates, a 15-year-old living on the margins of São Paulo's coast, must survive on his own while coming to terms with his grief.
During the slavery period in Brazil, a sugar cane farm was the stage for the darkest kinds of horrors. Years later, the place's cruel past is still stained in its walls, even if unnoticed, until a series of strange events starts happening and death returns to the farm. The film is divided in five short horror stories.
Stefan Gabriel (Martin Wuttke) ist Bademeister und engagierter Vater zweier sehr unterschiedlicher Töchter. Im gleichen Maße, wie Sabrinas Zustand schlechter wird, werden Jessicas Ticks immer schlimmer, weswegen die jüngere Schwester einen Plan ersinnt: Ein spezielles Ritual, auf das die Geschwister in einem Buch gestoßen sind, soll für Sabrinas Heilung sorgen, allerdings muss sie dafür Sex mit einem Jungen haben. Each one has a different outlook on life and their personal projects for this inheritance will reawaken family disagreements and phantoms of the past.

Dave Stimple, an unfocused mattress store owner, is having issues connecting with everyone around him. He arrives at the shop one morning to find the local health and safety people have shut him down. Bugs, huge bed bugs and lots of complaints are cited as the reason. Dave is really confused and his relationships with his wife, friends, and his own humanity seem to be devolving and increasingly distracting anomalies begin to take over his reality. But his issues may not be as internal as they seem.
